How it works
Anglers heading back post fish they can't use — often before the boat even docks. Claiming opens a private message thread to arrange pickup at the landing. Everything here is given free as a gift between anglers — fish are never bought, sold, bartered, or traded, and posting and claiming never cost anything, keeping every share squarely within California's rules for sport-caught fish. Claiming is first-come. Bring a cooler.
