The shaded circles are modeled fishing zones β areas where current ocean conditions line up with what the selected species wants: sea-surface temperature in its preferred range, chlorophyll edges that concentrate bait, current breaks and underwater structure that hold fish. Each zone is scored 0β100 on how strongly those signals overlap: red = elite, yellow = strong, blue = fair, sized by the zone's actual area. It reads the water, not the fish β treat it as where boats should find good conditions, then check the radio call-ins and counts for what's actually biting.
